Simple fast tracking in an unmanned tool crib or stores area

When returning an item(s):

  1. The user enters an employee number and pin number, the door unlocks and the user enters the IntelliPort.
  2. User selects “Check In” on the touch screen. The system scans the item(s), speaks the number of items detected, and asks user to confirm what item(s) is being returned.
  3. The user may receive a receipt (optional) that instructs the user where to place the item.
  4. If a gage is being returned, the user will be asked to enter the number of cycles used.
  5. Upon leaving, the user selects “Check Out.” The IntelliPort confirms that no items are in hand, verbally asks user to confirm, and the door unlocks for exit.
